4299萬購Seabank公司49%‧僑豐進軍越南證券業務

（吉隆坡）僑豐控股（OSK，5053；主板金融組）以2205億越南盾（約4299萬令吉），收購越南Seabank證券合股公司的49%股權，進軍越南證券業務。
僑豐控股是通過僑豐投資銀行展開收購，得以汲取越南強勁經濟發展商機，以及拓展區域業務。
該公司在文告中指出，Seabank證券合股公司成立於2006年。截至2007年12月31日，營業額達900億越南盾（約1億7715萬令吉），稅前盈利約達428億越南盾（約8000萬令吉）。

OSKH is pleased to announce the proposed subscription by OSKIB of 22,050,000 new ordinary shares at par value of VND10,000 each in SEABS (“Subscription Shares”), representing 49% of the enlarged share capital of SEABS for a subscription price of VND220,500,000,000 (equivalent to approximately RM42,990,836 based on an exchange rate of RM1.00:VND5,129).Further details of the proposed subscription of the Subscription Shares are set out in the attachment below.This Announcement is dated 25 April 2008.
Within one month, OSK have announced its plan to expand its business to Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia. Will come back to review the new investment operation and how the new investment contribute on the company bottom line this year.
