- Proposed Establishment of Commercial Bank in Cambodia by the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, OSK Investment Bank Berhad (“OSKIB”) We wish to inform that Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) has via its letter dated 23 April 2008 approved OSKIB’s proposal to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary in Cambodia to undertake commercial banking activities. In this respect, the central bank of Cambodia, the National Bank of Cambodia (“NBC”), has also via its letter 24 April 2008 granted an approval in principle for the incorporation of a commercial bank with the name of OSK Indochina Bank Limited (“OSKIBL”). As part of the conditions, OSKIBL is required by NBC to commence operation by 31 October 2008.
