QL Resources Berhad is an investment holding company and a provider of management services. Its activities include marine-products manufacturing, crude palm oil (CPO) milling and integrated livestock farming. The Marine-products manufacturing segment, engaged in manufacturing and sale of fishmeal, surimi and surimi-based products; crude palm oil milling segment, involved in CPO milling and small-scale oil palm cultivation, and integrated livestock farming segment, engaged in the distribution of animal feed raw materials, poultry farming, food related products and sundry trading activities. QL has three layer farms in East Malaysia, two layer farms in Peninsular Malaysia, one in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan and one in Rawang, Selangor with total daily production of 1,200,000 eggs. In April 2005, QL Feedingstuffs Sdn. Bhd. and Tong Len Poultry Sdn. Bhd., wholly owned subsidiaries of the Company, entered into a joint venture agreement with Agrobiocare Sdn. Bhd. and Mission Victory Sdn. Bhd
